"My first visit to Heebe Jeebe was in October of 2013. At that time, I stumbled upon their Model 21 black & white photobooth nestled in the corner of the store to the right of the entry. At that time the strips were only $3. The store is jammed packed with stuff (cards, costumes, sunglasses, novelty items & random things that are fun to look at & buy). They just turned a small back area of the store into a little art gallery where they were featuring local special needs student paintings (very cool, I bought a piece).

"There was a sandwich board outside the store advertising the photobooth.

"The strips are now $4. Cash only and some times the dollar acceptor does not accept the dollars but they will gladly turn the magic key to make it work for you. The strip often does not come out but that isn't a problem, they will open it up and get it out for you!"

UPDATE 10/27/23: Yael let us know that "I recently went to the Heebe Jeebe store in Petaluma in the hope of using their photo booth. It’s still there, but apparently has been out of order for years because they’ve been unable to find a technician to service and repair it."

UPDATE 5/7/25: More than a decade after our first contribution about the booth at Heebe Jeebe in Petaluma, Annie has provided us with a most welcome update. "We first went to the Heebe Jeebe General Store in Petaluma, CA and I’m happy to report that their photobooth is back up and running again. The booth only takes singles but the employee kindly gave us change for our 50 dollar bill."
