Gabriel Litwin, who hails from Buenos Aires, is an artist who works at the intersection between art and technology. He has recently begun working with photobooths, after being inspired by the classic photobooths located around Berlin.
As Litwin writes,
The basic idea is to use these machines to take pictures of the surrounding space, to displace them of its primitive function dedicated to the portrait. By means of mirrors and filters I minimally manipulate the conditions of light and I slip the curtain that separates that space of intimacy to open it to the street.
