PHOTOBOOTHS IN MOVIES & TV

Hi, Beautiful

Leslie Goodwins (U.S., 1944, 68 min.)

For a few years, all we knew about this film was from a single jpeg of a publicity still for sale on eBay (which we didn't manage to win). In the summer of 2009, we finally came across a DVD copy, and can report that the photobooth sequence inside the "Picture Mill" is charming. Naturally, one of the photos they take in the booth comes back later on and has a major impact on the plot of the film.
