PHOTOBOOTHS IN MOVIES & TV

Give My Regards to Broad Street

Peter Webb (U.K., 1984, 108 min.)

This Paul McCartney musical comedy features both a photobooth and a photostrip: first, the strip of photos. Sandra (Tracey Ullman) looks at a strip of photos of Harry (Ian Hastings), who's disappeared with the master tapes for McCartney's new album. And later, at the eponymous Broad Street Station, McCartney walks past a photobooth, barely visible in the darkness at the right side of the frame.
