On the Road
Walter Salles (U.S., 2012, 124 min.)
Sal Paradise (Sam Riley), Dean Moriarty (Garret Hedlund), and Carlo Marx (Tom Sturridge) take a photo in a 15¢ photobooth early on in the film. The booth seems to be set up as a Photomatic ("Photo Already Framed") but the design of the booth clearly indicates it is a Model 9 or 11, and should be producing 4 photos in a strip. They get one photo, but it isn't framed, and Paradise cuts the photo in two down the middle, giving one half to Moriarty and one to Marx.
Later, Paradise reunites the two pieces.
